What would an MMORPG be without the RP? One of the predominant ways that players bring the game world to life is by using various character animations called emotes.
Like any other RPG Tabula Rasa has a wealth of emotes to make your social interactions more enjoyable. Like virtually every other game, emotes in Tabula Rasa are activated by typing a slash (/) in front the emote name. For example, to make your character wave, you type /wave into the chat box.
You’ll notice in this video that the player types his emote into the chat box located in the upper left corner.
So far from what I can tell, the system in place to expand game capabilities (such as macros in World of Warcraft or alias commands in Dungeons and Dragons Online) is either locked away or non-existent. There isn’t much recourse to the player wishing to engage in long emote-based social interaction aside from a few clever keybinds and quick fingers.
However Blastroid, a player from the PlanetTR forums, wrote an executable called Quick Slash that extends Tabula Rasa’s chat functionality quite a bit and gives you access to a whole new host of emote combinations, and allowing you to bind them all to your keyboard’s F# keys. This has allegedly been giving an informal OK by the Tabula Rasa developers, but as always with these sorts of things - use at your own risk.

Veteran Emotes
As you accrue paid months on your Tabula Rasa subscription, you will earn special “Veteran Emotes” that appear in the backpack of every character on your account. After activating the emote device you will be able to perform the emote anytime with that character.
